CITY + SPACE + LANDSCAPE

"We take our starting point in the local context and site-specific potentials to secure a sense of place and a sense of belonging.”

Line Stybe Vestergaard, Partner

At Juul Frost Architects, we turn challenges into potential, with clear benefits in terms of biodiversity, climate, health and well-being, as well as social cohesion.

Process management is one of our core services, and we facilitate communication-based processes and citizen involvement to add value to the process and the project. Our team of urban developers and urban and landscape architects work across all scales, from strategic urban development and master plans to outlining and designing parks, urban spaces and courtyards.

Our projects draw on the local context and site-specific potential to ensure the area’s identity and to promote a sense of belonging among its users.

Across scales, we promote social cohesion, connect neighbourhoods and create socially inclusive spaces to support presence and curiosity about new human networks. We work with nature-based and recreational climate adaptation as a basis for urban nature, biodiversity and social life.

Our interdisciplinary approach has resulted in award-winning projects such as the landscape at Filmhusene on the former airbase in Værløse and the courtyard between the houses at Køge Kyst.
