SCHOOL OF THE FUTURE IN WARSAW
The school of the future is holistic and developed based on the diverse needs: needs of the city, needs of the students, spaces, learning, and social interactions.
Juul | Frost Architects has carried out a feasibility study in Warsaw focusing on transforming an existing school into the learning environment of the future. The project combines urban, physical, social, and educational needs with technical solutions that reduce the building’s carbon footprint.
We have developed recommendations for energy efficiency, daylight optimisation, improved insulation, solar energy solutions, ventilation systems with heat recovery, and data-driven indoor climate monitoring. The study has been developed in accordance with Warsaw’s Green Building Standard and can serve as a model for other schools in Poland.
