Ringstedhuset

Flexibility has been an integral part of the concept from the outset. At its core is a large, light-filled space arranged over one and a half storeys, which can be configured according to the residents’ individual needs and accommodate up to six rooms.

The housing typology itself is equally adaptable. Ringstedhuset can be built as a detached house, a semi-detached house, or a terraced house. Designed as a courtyard house, the main dwelling and an accompanying annex together enclose a private courtyard, creating a sheltered setting for outdoor living. The annex can be adapted to a wide range of uses, including an artist’s studio, a teenager’s retreat, a guest suite with its own bathroom, or virtually any other purpose the residents may require.
