MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Dear friends, collaborators, and colleagues. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Architecture must reflect societal changes. Conversely, changes are reflected in architecture. We are the first to notice when crises are beginning to bite and change is ahead. But as urban planners, architects, and landscape architects, we also believe in seizing the future. Our ambition is to contribute with proactive solutions to major challenges such as rising loneliness and climate change.

Therefore, we see pauses in construction as time for thoughtfulness. The opportunity to learn more about how we can create architecture with societal significance and impact.

Architecture must extend beyond itself and push the development forward. Therefore, research and development is an integrated part of our practice. In 2022 we have developed new recommendations for safety-promoting and health-promoting planning through interdisciplinary development projects. It has resulted in the publications 'Safe urban spaces for everyone, many, few' and 'The urban health culture of the future'.

2022 hasn't just gone with thinking. We had an exciting year at Juul Frost Architects both at home and abroad.

We won gold at the WAN Awards for our transformation of Siljangade from run-down industry to co-working and co-living space. In Copenhagen's Southern harbour, our landscape architects have been busy with the design of metro square, green streets, urban spaces, and promenades at Enghave Brygge Syd.

In Odense, 63 senior dwelling and 184 student dwelllings have been completed in Munkebjerg Park. a stone's throw from away, 138 quality apartments are ready for occupancy at Christians Park, where we have also designed the integrated climate and activity park, Pulsparken.

In Sweden, the World Trade Center Helsingborg is complete: Here our ambition for sustainable architecture meets, that offers sustainable choices with the promotion of health and well-being.

In 2023, we look forward to gaining a better understanding of how we can put knowledge into practice. The ambition of our architecture and urban development is to promote people's quality of life, health and well-being.

We look forward to the continued collaboration and new exciting projects.

The warmest Christmas and New Year's greetings
