DGNB certification Munkebjerg Park

Juul Frost Architects are responsible for the DGNB certification of Munkebjerg Park in Odense.

Juul Frost Architects has been advisors at all stages from the vision and the district plan to the execution of all construction in the development of Munkebjerg Park. We are currently responsible for the DGNB certification of the urban area.

DGNB is a sustainability certification targeted at buildings and urban areas. The system is based on a holistic approach to social, economic and environmental sustainability. The certification includes 5 themes: Process Quality, Environmental Quality, Economic Quality, Sociocultural and Functional Quality and Technical Quality

Through a screening, documentation and evaluation, Juul Frost Architects ensures an efficient, agile and structured certification process. We collect, prepare and systematize documentation and evaluation material to ensure an overview throughout the entire process. Juul Frost Architects provides advisers with a background in consultancy training from the Council for Sustainable Construction (formerly the Danish Green Building Council (DK-GBC)).

Munkebjerg Park is expected to be DGNB Certified for Silver. The area includes 13.5 Ha and 80,000 m2 of construction distributed on 8 building plos, which form a dense and mixed district with both housing, services and businesses connected by green surroundings.
