GET A GLIMPSE OF ENGHAVE BRYGGE METRO SQUARE!

In 2024, the expansion of metro line M4 towards Sydhavn will open, which includes five new metro stations in Copenhagen: Havneholmen, Enghave Brygge, Sluseholmen, Mozarts Plads, and Ny Ellebjerg.

Juul Frost Architects are responsible for all phases, from sketching to design and supervision of Enghave Brygge's new metro square. The square, equivalent in size to Gammel Strand, will become the largest in the district.

Our ambition is that the metro square should not only function as a transit space but as the new focal point for the local urban life. It should be a destination in itself.

The nearly 200-meter-long square is part of the transformation of the former port and industrial area into an attractive mixed-use business and residential neighborhood. The square will be a vibrant gathering place for the new district with an industrial character, seating areas, outdoor dining, plenty of trees, and a seating staircase leading down to the water.

Work has already begun on the construction of the station square at Enghave Brygge. The station square is expected to be completed in the summer of 2024.
