INTA ANNOUNCES PROGRAM FOR INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE CITIES OF THE FUTURE

How can we create cities that promote health, community, and nature? This is the central question of INTA Urban Futures Lab 2026, bringing together international professionals in Bordeaux on October 23–24.

Under the theme Cities for Life - Cooling, Belonging, Biophilic, INTA explores how urban development can contribute to more climate-resilient, inclusive, and nature-integrated cities. The program features expert presentations, panel discussions, and a participatory workshop exploring new perspectives on the future of urban life.

On the second day of the conference, participants are invited on a guided urban walk focusing on green infrastructure and concrete urban development projects in Bordeaux - from green schoolyards and pedestrian-friendly streets to cooling urban spaces, tree-lined boulevards, and revitalized parks.

Helle Juul, founding partner of Juul Frost Architects and President of INTA, opens the conference with a presentation on shaping future urban health cultures.
