TALLINN: A STUDY TRIP IN TRANSFORMATION AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT

This year’s study trip at Juul Frost Architects took us to Tallinn, the fascinating capital of Estonia.

The city offered a wealth of transformations of former industrial sites, as well as well-preserved urban districts reflecting its diverse history - from the Middle Ages and the Soviet era to the city’s remarkable development today.

Our annual study trip is an important part of our professional community at the studio. It gives us the opportunity to experience architecture and urban development from new perspectives. And it is also a chance to spend time together in a different setting, with long conversations, good dinners and a shared toast!
